Loving Sunday

As a monthly activity to involve all Lions in the District, the last Sunday of each month will be designated‘Loving Sunday’, which will be specifically devoted to a social welfare project or community service, such as charity visit, gotong-royong campaign or Family Day.

This programme is designed to fulfill the District’s objective of meeting 80%, if not all, of Lions to be actively involved in their respective clubs’ projects.

It is also a platform to reinforce the Lions branding exercise while also raising the Lions profile through creating and enhancing public awareness of Lions Clubs’ activities and their involvement in community service projects.

This will go a long way in complementing the Government’s efforts in cultivating a caring society. In addition, the ‘Loving Sunday’ activity is also a friendship and fellowship programme for all Lions.
